Oh, and Cameron Diaz SUCKS!!

I've never been a big fan of hers, (she's ok in dumb comedies but she's dreadful if she tries to act, ie, "Gangs of New York") and I don't think she's that cute so I thought it was humorous when she was introduced as beautiful and talented last night at the Oscars, when I don't think she's either. And since she's known in Hollywood for her bad skin and it's a chore for the cinematographers on her films to get her to look movie-star good, I have good reason to be appalled at her performance when she was announcing the winner of the Cinematography award. She was trying to be cute, but ended up sounding snarky and not very respectful towards the nominees and their craft. I kinda half hoped that the winner, Robert Elswit for "There Will Be Blood", would have snapped at her after receiving his Oscar and told her to NOT expect very well lit closeups for awhile on any future films, but he had sense enough to resist. Cinematographer are a dime a dozen in Hollywood, even Oscar winning ones, and are easily replaced, but airheaded blonde actresses who give good head are hard to find....right?

UPDATE: oh, yeah, and I forgot her blithering abut "Sunrise" the brilliant FW Murnau film from 1927. Was someone else supposed to present this award (an actor with either enough intelligence to have seen "Sunrise" or at least pretend to have been familiar with it), or did the writers for the Oscars have the idea that it would be funny to have the dumbest actress in Hollywood reference one of the most beautiful and brilliant films of all time? Regardless, she came off as ignorant and disrespectful. Isn't her 15 minutes of fame about finished?
